Baptism

Whether baby, toddler, youth, or adult, we welcome you to the font during almost any of our worship services. Once it is determined which pastor will be performing your baptism, she or he will be in contact with you to schedule time for conversation in preparation for the baptism. To begin the baptism process, contact the church office or call 437-4516.

Biblical Hospitality

We are called to practice Biblical Hospitality…and practice it with joy! In John 14:15, 21–24, there is evidence that one is a Christian and loves the heavenly Father by the choice to obey His commands. The ultimate purpose of hospitality is to minister to those around us – both believers and non-believers. Our hospitality is a form of ministry and is a way that we show love, care, concern, and how we can serve others! Hospitality may come in many forms but the ultimate purpose is: To honor and obey God by serving those around us.

Funerals

Our Savior’s is a place where all are welcome. We are honored to perform funeral ceremonies for both members and non-members. We understand the funeral to be a Christian worship service that proclaims God’s love for all. Our pastors conduct funerals or memorials at the church or funeral home. During this difficult time, a pastor will arrange a time to meet with the family to plan the service, which often can be combined with the family’s meeting at the funeral home.

Events/Milestones

Birthdays, growth charts, and advancing in grade levels all mark important milestones in a child’s development. We also like to acknowledge where children and youth are in their development process and how it pertains to their faith journeys while helping to better equip parents as faith teachers. To do this, we have established the Faith Milestone Ministry. Each year, children accompanied by a parent, grandparent or impact adult are invited to attend one of these fun and faith-filled events. From CradleRoll graduation to Sunday School to communion instruction with chalice-making, each year marks a new chapter in the child’s faith journey.

Weddings

Congratulations! We are glad you are considering Our Savior’s as a place for your wedding ceremony. We believe that a wedding is a Christian worship service that is both joyous and sacred. We look forward to helping you plan your day. All couples are expected to begin pre-marital sessions 6-12 months before the wedding. Most often these are scheduled with the Our Savior’s pastor who will be performing the ceremony; however other arrangements are possible, especially if the couple lives out of town. Our wedding coordinator will help you organize your wedding service. Our music coordinator will help you in selecting music and contacting musicians that you might like for your wedding. To begin the wedding process please contact one of the Our Savior’s pastors.
