EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH OF COLOMBIA Our   relationship   with   Colombia   was   formed   through   the   Southeastern   Minnesota   Synod   as   one   of   our   Companion   Synods.      Today, twenty   five   Lutheran   congregations   exist   in   Colombia   due   to   the   generosity,   prayer,   and   relationships   that   have   been   formed   in   our work   together.   By   walking   and   working   together,   we   seek   to   accompany   our   sisters   and   brothers   in   Colombia. THE LUTHERAN CENTER IN SOUTH SUDAN The   Southeastern   Minnesota   Synod   has   taken   a   leading   role   in   partnering   with   ELCA   Global   Mission   in   establishing   a   new   Lutheran body,   the   Evangelical   Lutheran   Church   Africa   Mission   -   South   Sudan.   With   six   vibrant   South   Sudanese/   Ethiopian   worshipping communities   in   our   synod,   our   tie   to   South   Sudan   grows   stronger   every   day.   Members   of   our   own   congregations   have   family   and friends   impacted   by   these   expanding   ministries.   We   have   a   unique   opportunity   to   accompany   these   brothers   and   sisters   to   make   a difference   in   South   Sudan.   The   Southeastern   Minnesota   Synod   is   working   alongside   congregations   to   build   a   worship   center,   clinic, and   community   center   in   South   Sudan.      Our   Savior’s   Austin   has   been   a   generous   donor   through   our   Outreach   funds   in   assisting   this work.      While   we   do   not   have   any   current   travel   plans   regarding   Sudan,   if   interested   in   future   travel,   please   email   Pastor   Chad   at cjohnson@oursaviorsaustin.org .      In   addition,   there   is   a   Synod   Task   Force   working   on   developing   this   new   ministry.      Please   be   in prayer   for   this   “new   mission   start.”      To   view   the   Synod   brochure:      http://semnsynod.org/site/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/South- Sudan-brochure.pdf . AICHR  - Advanced Institute of Counseling and Human Relations AICHR   is   a   non-profit,   community   service,   Government   registered   NGO   with   headquarters   in   India.      It   was   established   in   1994.     Pastor   Chad   and   Titus   Nirmal   met   in   2003   as   part   of   Global   Peace   Works   and   began   a   church   wide   extension   of   this   work.      This servant   work   is   now   accomplished   through   ten   church   plant   locations   throughout   Nellore,   India.     The   vision   is   for   the   transformation of   our   present   world   towards   a   future   that   is   regenerative   in   all   areas   of   human   activity.      AICHR’s   mission   is   to   maximize   social change   until   we   have   a   world   that   works   for   all   and   to   build   bridges,   working   together   to   solve   Global   Problems   for   a   Better   world.
